My husband and I have bought and sold two homes in the US, and have just purchased a third. Like most people, the purchase and sale of a home is the largest personal financial transaction that we have been involved in. They are stressful, and emotional, and in a hot market, they take a toll on you. Maureen is, by far, the best person we can ask to have at our side. Maureen has saved us from some very costly blunders, by gently pointing out subtleties in the process that we would never have thought of. Other realtors (some we have interacted with, and others we have heard of) tend to be pushy Type-A personalities who sometimes put their clients in a bind through self- serving advice. With Maureen, you get the perspective of a person with enormous experience, and presented in a sensitive, and thoughtful way, for your consideration in making a decision.

Maureen was absolutely incredible. She was thorough and professional and great to work with. She kept us apprised about available appointments and always let us know as soon as a new house came on the market (during COVID, no less). She was honest and forthright and took the time to learn about my wife and I, our interests, aspirations, and life goals for finding our first home.

One of Maureen's greatest strengths is her ability to critique and criticize even a seemingly perfect home, playing devil's advocate and forcing you to think about your decision. Where other realtors may coax you along with promises of finding "the best home of your life," Maureen does not shy away from telling you when a house isn't worth the investment. Maureen picked up quickly on the types of houses and qualities we liked, and she made great suggestions that eventually landed us the perfect house for us! That attitude and approach is invaluable, and we're so thankful for having had the chance to work with her.

We met Maureen about a year before we were ready to start looking for a house. We were a young couple who knew very little about what it took to buy a home, let alone in the housing market during the pandemic. Maureen was sincerely interested in helping us from the moment we met and she connected us with other experts in the field (mortgage lender, home inspector, lawyer, etc). She never let us compromise on our standards and dreams, and provided us with the guidance and encouragement we needed in this tough market.

We can’t imagine having worked with anyone else to buy our first home, and we’ll always be grateful to Maureen for her undivided attention and expertise. We can’t say enough good things about her both professionally and personally. Though we plan on staying in this house for many years, we almost wish we were buying another house just so that we could work with her again!
